"Coach Strunk is the type of coach you would do anything for. He leads by example. He expects and demands your best, while at the same time always giving his best. The way he talked to me when I played for him allowed me to feel confident in my abilities. He would lift me up when I was feeling down, but he never let me get too comfortable. As an offensive player, it was really valuable for me to have Coach Strunk as my OC. He helped develop my mental game tremendously. He has a great knowledge of schemes and defenses, and he builds games plans to attach opponent’s weaknesses. I would do anything for Coach Strunk, and I know he would do anything for me. He is still an important role model and friend to many of my teammates and I, even though we haven’t taken the field together in years. Coach Strunk is the type of man you want leading your program. Coach Strunk is the most influential coach I have ever had , and I know I am not alone in saying that. He helped build me into who I am today. He will always give his best effort and always get the best out of people."

"I was fortunate to get to play football under Coach Strunk for my Senior season in 2014. On the field, Coach Strunk is very influential in getting his players ready for game day. He is one of the biggest supporters of his players, as he encourages them to perform their best each and every day. He taught me not just the fundamentals and what to know on each play but he also taught me how to be a leader with my play and my voice. I learned from him how to read defenses and what to anticipate before the play even started. He grew me into becoming a player that practiced like it was a game each day so that on game day it was time to just play and have fun. Off the field, this is where Coach Strunk impacts his players the most. He invests his time to help his student athletes to be the best they can be in the classroom and in life. He stays in touch with you and sincerely cares about your growth as you move on from high school. The relationship I have with Coach Strunk has led to me to pursue a career to be a teacher and coach and invest my time in my students each and everyday."
